Post Frame Carpenter
** $2,000 Sign-on Bonus available based on experience **
Our carpenters help build post frame buildings for our customers, including storage, airplane hangars, businesses, equestrian facilities, and homes. RAM Buildings Inc. is looking for someone with some carpentry experience who is not afraid of heights and who is comfortable working outdoors.

Design and Drafting Specialist
** $2,000 Sign-on Bonus available based on experience **

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Design & Drafting Specialist who enjoys combining technical design, problem-solving, and real-world construction—and wants to grow with us.
In this role, you’ll help turn ideas into buildings. You’ll develop and refine construction drawings for post-frame projects, working through the details that take a project from a sold concept to a clear, accurate, construction-ready plan.

Your attention to detail will help determine how a project comes together in the field. By identifying potential conflicts, asking the right questions, and developing clear construction drawings, you’ll help our crews build efficiently and give our customers a finished project they can be proud of.

What You Will Do:
- Create and revise detailed post-frame construction drawings, permit drawings, and building layouts.
- Develop construction-ready plans from contracts, preliminary drawings, sketches, specifications, and customer selections.
- Review project drawings and specifications for accuracy, constructability, and completeness.
- Work through building details including dimensions, elevations, sections, openings, materials, and other project-specific requirements.
- Identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential construction conflicts before projects reach the field.
- Incorporate revisions and change orders into project drawings.
- Coordinate design details with sales, crew managers, and processing engineers.
- Communicate with the sales team to clarify building details, customer selections, revisions, and outstanding information.
- Maintain organized drawing sets, project files, and current information within internal systems.
- Manage multiple projects and drafting deadlines as jobs move toward construction.
- Continually develop your knowledge of post-frame construction methods, materials, building components, and design standards.
What Will Help You Succeed:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems; familiarity with drafting software.
- Experience in drafting, construction design, or construction administration is preferred.
- Knowledge of post frame construction is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized across multiple projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, sketches, and project documentation.
- An understanding of basic building codes and construction terminology is preferred.

Order Processor

In this role, you will help move post frame projects from a signed contract to a construction-ready plan. You will create and revise drawings, organize critical project information, and work closely with sales, the lumberyard, crew managers, vendors, and field teams to make sure each project is accurate, complete, and ready to build.

- Maintain organized project files and keep internal systems current.
- Manage multiple timelines and meet processing deadlines as projects move toward construction.
- Participate in pre-construction handoff meetings and respond to project questions during construction.
What Will Help You Succeed:
- Knowledge of post-frame construction is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized across multiple projects.
- Clear communication skills and the confidence to ask questions, identify concerns, and follow through.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to reviewing plans and resolving project details.
- The ability to collaborate with office, yard, vendor, and field teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems; familiarity with drafting software is recommended.
- Experience in drafting, construction design, or construction administration is preferred.
