Site Superintendant – Commercial Construction

RAM General Contracting, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to fulfill the above position.

We provide general contracting, construction management, design-build and turnkey services to clients of commercial building projects and equestrian facilities.

Job Description:

  •         Willingness to travel and be on stay away for up to 10 days at a time.
  •         Coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all trades as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget.
  •          Monitors trades to achieve quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications
  •         Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
  •         Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems
  •         Conducts weekly site meetings and submits progress reports to Project Manager
  •          Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the project
  •         Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees
  •          Creates and supervises completion of final punch lists
  •          Maintains an organized job site, including the job site office          

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years experience working as a site superintendant or related position is preferred.

Ability to read and comprehend construction plans and specifications, prioritize multiple responsibilities, problem solve. Self starter demonstrates leadership skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills, effective listening skills, tactful and mature demeanor with well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities. OSHA certified. Must have basic computer skills in email, internet, and Microsoft Word.

Draftsperson
RAM Buildings, Inc.is seeking an individual to fill this Full Time position and become a part of our team.

Responsibilities include:
• Prepare construction drawings and permit drawings for building projects
• Prepare material lists and take-offs
• Place orders for non-stock building materials

Experience & Requirements:
• A minimum of two years of drafting experience or a drafting degree required
• Construction experience preferred, but not required
• A basic understanding of Microsoft products (Windows, Word, Excel) is required
• Candidate must be well organized and able to communicate well with vendors, customers, and RAM personnel.
