80’ x 80’ x 23’ Hangar – Under Construction
RAM is in the process of completing the first hangar in a new addition at the Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie, MN. This new addition has over 40 lots available with different lot sizes to match different size hangars. The 80’ x 80’ x 23’ hangar has a superior insulation package. The walls are steel lined and insulated with R-25 batt insulation and the ceiling is steel lined with R-40 blown insulation. To pack that extra punch the outer walls are Tyvek wrapped to stop air filtration. The 70’ x 22’ hydraulic door is also steel lined and insulated. With all of these items combined it will make for a much more comfortable visit to the hangar, no matter the temperature outside.
The 5’ x 2” insulated windows are strategically placed high on the sidewall to allow for natural lighting throughout the building. Pure sunlight is advantageous for several reasons; energy efficiency, it is known to increase productivity and comfort, and it has many positive effects on the human health condition.
If you are considering putting up a building these are a couple of items you may want to add to your list to consider and talk with your Territory Manager about. A lot of thought and planning goes into each building designed and constructed by RAM.
